So I went through all of the photos posted by the OP and attempted to map out the colors sitting at the port. The bokeh looks beautiful but it also prevents accuracy -- take this with a grain of salt.

The rows are actually diagonal so it was a little tricky getting it down. It also looks like the row starts counting from 6, and the number of cars behind can vary since it's all diagonal. I am also missing values for what I cannot see!

I estimate around 170 cars.

Out of the cars I could pick out from the pictures, the distribution doesn't look quite even:

In the following screenshot, the first 10 rows map out the photos. Rows 12-17 show the color, count, and percentage of car color distribution.

That, my friend, is beautiful

I'm just realizing these have very little protective film on them compared to most other cars that come by sea. Is that typical for Honda?

All the better.. freaking frustrating all the little straight lines of adhesive left behind when they peel that stuff. Spent an hour with goo gone on the end of a Q-tip to rid my car of it last weekend.

Just curious, what can you do with a VIN of a car that hasn’t been sold yet?

You could also determine every possible VIN combination and then search them all regularly using a script to detect all new VINs as they are created. Not saying you should though ;)

I only dabble in SW when absolutely necessary for my job (thankfully rare) but I know it's a short putt for most basic-skilled developer types.

Realistically, if this was done from inside - like a salesman running the script on dealer daily or whatever Honda uses and maintaining a list like the legendary allocation spreadsheet of spring/summer 2022 - they would probably get fired. Any internet based data source would get quickly patched up, as did the Toyota API loophole.

Heh yeah I work directly on API integrations. There are ways around it 😬

Cars from Honda/Japan typically cover large portions of the car in a clear film. Almost like a thick stretch wrap...

Edit: You can actually see it on the hood of the cars in the zoom photos. Also the first photo you can see it on the boost blue.

Wait til you’ve been here a little longer, and listened to all the gloating, and then tell me how you feel lol.
And then there's that one guy that only shares negativity once in a while to tell us how relevant he is ;)
