I just threw these in last weekend and only got them fixed up and driving nice today, and have them set 10 clicks from max firmness. I would say it’s just a bit on the bouncy side. Reading what @tezzasaurusrex had to say, it sounds like I’m going to want to drop that to maybe an 8 and give that a try. I think my ideal street tightness would be something between a stock Sport and stock R. I can’t wait to get it on track with the wider 200s and an even stiffer rate.

Question though. The front dampers are pretty clear - little gold dial at the bottom, 20 clicks, etc. For the rears, though, there’s nothing anywhere in any of the manuals or guides that tells you where to adjust the dampening. I mean, I figured out that it was the circle piece at the bottom of the strut with the teeth, but it doesn’t seem to follow the whole 20 clicks thing. If you turn it one direction, it definitely stops, but then it seems to open for more than 20 clicks. I didn’t check both rear struts, but… in you guys experience, do the rears follow the 20 click paradigm like the fronts? The guide says they should.

That's correct, the max you should go is 20 clicks from the hardest setting. Beyond that the pin to orifice clearance will be in such a way that it would not operate sufficiently to properly control the bound/rebound strokes. The DFV system is very effective, so one should take advantage of it by running a higher base setting on the damping circuits.

Ohlins is selling the same R&T setup with same spring rate for both FK8 and FL5. FK8 and FL5 stock suspension is different due to different spring rates, valving, and tuning...but the physical shock tower and mounting points are the same.
