I'm finding the new Prelude a lot more appealing than I expected. The simulated 8 speed gearbox shifts in S+ mode are really engaging according to the previews. The way it bumps you on each upshift reminds me a bit of the Ioniq N's personality. The brake setup seems to be pretty serious if not identical to the CTR.

Also, the fact that they're using the CTR's dual axis front suspension also indicates they're really going for good handling and steering feel.
I will be surprised if they run brembos on the production model. Hybrids have Regen braking so big brakes aren't necessary

If you held on to your 2001 Prelude SH then you have just as much power as the 2026 Prelude.
Who woulda thought that?

Interesting the 2001 curb weight is 3042lbs. I wonder how much more the new prelude will weigh..400lbs more?

The h22 was an awesome engine, i love my car but it would be so much better with Honda’s double wishbone suspension and the JDM K20A 💪

I'll see one show up at a car meet/show with the new owner showing it off. But won't say the mark-up they pay to be first in the area.
