M＆M rear tow strap install issuse

Anyone get m&m rear tow strap ?? 8 gor mine but the bolt is very short and can't go in the hole and I looked oem tow hook and found different size too . Anyone have this issue and how to fix ??thanks !!

the M&M rear strap is just for the JDM car, it won't work on the US car (it says right on their site as well)
