I also use project-mu. one major reason is the color of the pad. I use HC M1, which seems to have slight better performance based on the spec

The Endless MX72's are not a track pad and I've known of many cases where they have gone beyond their design temperature and a subsequent unwanted excursion in the gravel trap ensued.
Good pad for street, but so are the stock Brembo pads.
ME22/20's are the ones you want to run on the track.
I run Project Mu HC-CS on Paragon discs which perform great, has more bite than the OEM pads and less dust.

I just ran MX72P pads yesterday morning. Dropped seconds in time. Night and day performance from the OEM pads. I think they're great amateur/starter pads. I'm planning to move up gradually on pad aggressiveness as I gain more seat time.

I’m also thinking about giving the Endless ME20 a try. The Paragon R3s currently on the front isn’t bad. But they seem to fade a bit in the latter laps of the session.

@MooMoo that stuttering I told you about went away this track event. I guess I also didn’t bed them correctly.

Are your Paragon R3s noisy? I recently put them on the front and they squeal a lot in normal traffic stops. I likely need to re-bed them but wanted to see what another user's experience was.

Based on Paragon's info, they are supposed to be in a class similar to the Ferodo DS2500 pads I have used in the past. Those would squeal a little (usually only when it was cold out), but we're pretty quiet overall.

Very little squealing and not often. Actually my wife is the reason why I am trying out this pad. I had Carbotech X10/X8 on the FK8 and she hated it. She said it’s embarrassing to drive when it squeals so much at every light. I don’t want to change pads before and after at the track so this is what I’m living with. A compromise even though I only track the car 1-4 times a year.

I think he was at watskins, I think its one of those very demanding tracks on brakes

I drive with traction control on. I do see smoke coming out of my front brakes when I pulled into the garage bay after a couple of sessions.

I went with the P3’s because I wanted it to be friendly still in the street. Trying to find a balance between track and street is not always easy.

for sure and I think for a ton of tracks the hybrid pads are more than enough.

that said if you can deal with the noise the r5s at least are fine on the street, you get a decent bite even when cold

I am currently using the CSG CP pads. Very good hybrid pad. Little too no noise on the street.

Sounds like the R3s might need higher temps to operate. At low temp traffic stops, you might be just scrapping away your transfer layer, until you can re-bed.

Currently have Paragon R5 in front and R3 in the back. Had some issues of vibration last track day which was most likely that I did not bed pads enough. Still have not gone back to the track but did do an auto X and pads were fine, they were pretty good, worked as they should.
However I cam from Ferodo 1.11 on my M2 and I just liked the feel of those pads better, the initial bite was awesome (different brake setup, m2 comp had a bbk but i really think its pad compound at play here).
I feel like pad compound (talking feel here) really depends on driver, some prefer a higher initial bite, others prefer more modulation, etc. I really enjoyed the 1.11s. So you say just get 1.11s, which maybe I should but the price is just insane, I was hoping the pads would be much cheaper because smaller rotors but they are still $650 for fronts which is why I was excited to try the paragons for basically less than half price. So I am looking for other options, for people that have tried 1.11s and other compounds. I am looking at Endless ME20 which I have heard good things and tons of BMWs run them at the ring, can get em from Japan for a good price and wondering if anyone has tried endless ME20 or ME22 and how they compare to ferodo 1.11s, or let me know of other pad compound yall like if you have had experience with 1.11s

i had the same issue on other pads.
Sand the rotor and brake in the rotors and brake pads.
heres what worked for me:

1. braking slowly and mid pressure multiple times. 60mph-to full stop, 80-full stop
2. braking hard multiple times. that will fix your problem. 100-30mph, multiple times
3. do this for 10-15mins.
4. you know its ready when you can smell that burnt brake pads.

The ebc sr11 are street friendly. Good in cold weather had a blast on track with them. After my track weekend the noise is much improved. They were a little noisy with just a street bedding. Little dust day to day as well.

I find expensive brake pads are often worth the investment between life, modulation, and thermal capcity. If you like the DS1.11, try it. Worst thing that happens is you don't love it and you try something else next time.

Remember that Paragon Pads are just rebranded Winmax - they are nothing special, just mass produced compounds and providing every offering they have available to the general public. They will work for some and not for other, but essentially are in the same bucket as Carbotech, G-Loc, and ugh, Hawk....

I run CSG Pads...I've been on them for the past 4 or 5 years at this point on a number of different chassis, and rarely run the same compound. I was C21 and another on the A90. CP on the BRZ. C2 on the Veloster N. I've run CP Front and Rear on the FL5, and now C1 Front and CE1 Rear on the FL5.

CP is more street-track hybrid -- and it's damn impressive how much temperature it can take, while still being fully compliant on the street -- but it's not going to match DS1.11 bite. You might prefer the C21 compound then.

With that, I'd recommend giving them a shout on Instagram or via email to discuss your options. It seems like you have a good idea of what you like and don't like, and they will be able to really hone in your preference as a result. Helps they also have an FK8 and DE5 for testing out compounds

yeah I am considering just getting the 1.11s. I had never heard of GSG but will look at them. They seem to be a mid ground btw the ferodos ($1000+ for set) and the Paragons ($450 for the set). I am just so damn curious about the Endless, they are $350. But I am with you rather pay more and have what I want but if I haven't tried a few then its hard to know so might take the gamble on them.

I sanded the pads, was too lazy to remove rotors and hone them but maybe I will have to do it if next day I get crazy shaking again.
