By any chance someone is working something like the FK8 to unlock the ECU? I really can’t send my ECU to get Unlocked I don’t trust the mail for that 😂. Is there a timeline or information into something like that? I remember that the 2020 FK8 needed a little box to get unlocked but don’t know what it’s called.
For what it’s worth, I sent my ECU to Javier (Jester04) via UPS without issue. I know others have too. I ship quite a bit through UPS for work and have not had a single issue.

if you're that scared, then Hondata will be coming to San Antonio and Dallas in 2025.

Easy to say because it's not my ECU, but there's nothing to be paranoid about. UPS has a very low package loss rate, with less than 1% of packages being lost or damaged in transit. The only reason I would wait for the Jailbreak Tour is to save 20%. I value saving 20% more than I'm concerned about losing my ECU in transit if I were to ship.

I just saw that 20% is good and at the same time I do a cruise with the family. I love going to both cities Dallas and San Antonio

The hondata jailbreak event was pretty chill. Met a lot of good folks in SF, CA, the first one this year.

I did not mail my ECU either, same paranoia. Waited until they came to the midwest and did it in person. met some other R and ITS owners too

I had some hesitation, but I made sure to put a ton of insurance on it and signature confirmation. It made it there with no issue.

i mailed in my first one. and basically felt like I had a $50k paperweight. everything was fine, but I was nervous for sure, so i get it.

for my third one, I went to IMS directly and got it cloned and unlocked (it was on the way to VIR). It was nice to meet DRob and didn't feel like I had a paperweight lol

Yeah but I have to much trust issues and paranoia 😂

in other inquire So ok the price wise it’s the 1070 that say on top and also 856 or is 856 at the event with the 50 for the ticket that goes towards the final price and ends on 806 at the event? Sorry I’m a little lost on that first part on the page. I emailed Hondata but didn’t get answer maybe I didn’t specified clearly.
Thanks again for all the input I rather deal here I hate social media I like forum better.
Please if it is Hondata Jailbreak events discuss this in their threads. This one is my personal one for tuning and my customers that I jailbreak. Want to avoid the clutter or confusion.

Hi jester,
What setup would you recommend to make 450hp on pump 93. Thanks

Realistically you are going to need a bigger turbo and fuel system upgrades. Looks like the Kuro Plus and and RV6 options will get you about ~440whp on 93 with proper fueling and a solid tune.

Let me add myself to the list of @Jester04 happy customers. Javier is as personable yet professional as they come. We ran into an error in the beginning which was from Hondata’s side not his. It was very apparent that it really bothered him that the base map he was sending me wasn’t working. Javier reassured me that he would look into it and have a fix soon. After Hondata fixed the software issue, we proceeded with the back and forth data logs. As many have said, this guy knows his stuff and the way he communicates gives you full confidence that he only wants the best for your car, not only in performance but also safety. He let me know that the fuel in CA is really setting my car’s potential back so he only tuned it to what my fuel can handle, which again lets you know that he treats your car the way he would his.
I paid for the option that includes track support and can’t wait to work with him again. Thanks, Javier!
