How Do I Remove Steering Wheel Airbag/Horn Assembly?

I think this is on you as the buyer. You bought a suede wrapped item that obviously will not behave like the factory plastic airbag cover.

That suede will obstruct the airbag from functioning. Their disclaimer covers them and I imagine you will lose the credit card chargeback.

This seems like a direct from China supplier. I honestly don't see the reason to upgrade the factory wheel at the detriment of safety.

Totally get your perspective. I definitely was not thinking about the cover not operating correctly when I ordered. However, it is installed on an OEM housing.

The company has a US number and I have been in communication with the CEO. He said people have swapped the airbag over without any issue. He did offer me to return in, minus a restocking fee, which is something.

Personally it would be a return for me, I would be messing around with the airbag module in any shape or form

Thanks dude. I'm going to chat with the Honda Service Manager and see what he thinks. I'll probably just return it. Disappointing because the quality is excellent.

Yes. But, I wanted to do the cover to match my shift boot and I also liked the forged 'H' emblem to match the wheel and other goodies I have.
