OEM's are perfectly fine, quality aftermarket headlights will match or slightly exceed output, but look a lot better in one prefers that style. We'll do an OE versus AlphaRex comparison when we install on our car, and share here.Perhaps I don’t drive at night enough but what’s wrong with the stock headlights?
Any info on the front lip?OEM's are perfectly fine, quality aftermarket headlights will match or slightly exceed output, but look a lot better in one prefers that style. We'll do an OE versus AlphaRex comparison when we install on our car, and share here.
When I saw the HKS car at SEMA in person I loved the look, and have been eagerly waiting for their release![]()
Although I can try adjust them and see if that makes any difference, I find both high and low beam are overall on the close side.Perhaps I don’t drive at night enough but what’s wrong with the stock headlights?
Just wanted to update the thread that we did install the AlphaRex Headlights on our FL1 to start off with about a month ago, and just shared the video. Post-install, we put the FL1 and FL5 side by side (end of the video) for comparison, and the AlphaRex are clearly superior in terms of output, and a very defined cut-off.
Visibility is much better overall, and they look better in my opinion. The ones we put on the FL1 have a "Black" housing, and the ones that we'll install on our FL5 when the HKS Intercooler Kit on order for it arrives will be "Alpha Black", which is a more smoked-look housing.
