Have any infotainment software updates been published?

I have a 2022 Sport Touring and haven't ever received an infotainment software update. I tried WiFi and the technique where you use a thumb drive.

Is this user error, or has Honda never published an infotainment software update?

You should be able to check for updates right on the head unit

Nope and we'll be lucky if there ever is one honestly.

My guess is that they might roll out an update after the 2025 MY cars start hitting dealerships…maybe

I pulled the file from my 2024 head unit using a USB stick to check directly on the Honda website...

There was never an update to my previous 2017 Civic, either. The only reason there might be an update is if some key functionality was broken when it was delivered to dealers or if it was a pre-release model. That said, getting an Android 13/14 version of the unit would be nice.

Do we know the manufacturer of the 11th gen? Joying was essentially plug-and-play with some toggles on the 10th gen.
