Looking to upgrade my rotors car has 6kmiles. Odd question but do some people replace just the Fronts for looks and weight savings?

Can you change the OEM rings and reuse the hats?

Can you change the OEM rings and reuse the hats?
You can but I haven’t seen it listed as such on the Honda parts sites. I was also told Paragon sells the replacement rings to work with OEM hats.

Cool, I wonder if the OEM hats + Paragon rings are >= Girodisc.

Cool, I wonder if the OEM hats + Paragon rings are >= Girodisc.
I mainly got GiroDisc as they were recommended by multiple folks who track their type R. One thing to note is that GiroDisc are made in the USA and Paragon are made in China.

I think thats only if you buy the 2018 or 2017 FK8 rotors. The braking system is unchanged from the FK8 but they went from a 2 piece design to the current once piece. I just don't remember the year.

My fronts are two piece. Rears are one. 2025.
