I don't think Op is crazy about tank volume and gas gauge. I just traded in a 2023 si for 2024 type r and takes should be the same but there's something funny with the tank in the type r. Si would take 39-40L to fill from fuel warning light, type r is maybe 36-37L. Thats 10% smaller fuel capacity. Mileage aside, I've never experienced a car with a tank this small and I don't understand why it would be any different than the tank in the 11 Gen si.

In my Type R (FK8), the 'Fuel Low' light comes on after using 10-10.5 gallons.
The tank size is 12.4, so there's a big margin.
My wife's 2024 Civic Sedan 1.5T does the same thing.

In gallons that's exactly what my 11 Gen si did. Fl5 light comes on after using around 9-9.5 gallons.
