My opinion, Black is the worse. I like SGP, the pearl alters the colour based on lighting. If we had Boost Blue in Canada I'd consider it, but I don't know how I feel about the blue and red. It's a colour combination best for Superman.
BBP is my least favorite color and there's a large gap between it and the next color. It's similar to Porsche Shark Blue, which I also do not like. Odd because I generally love a blue paint code. Lot of versatility for a non-grayscale color. Overall, while limited, the color palette for the FL5 is solid. There is no color that I despise.

I agree. For me it’s CW>RR>CBP>SGP>>>BBP. I would be happy with any FL5 though.

To me, the boost blue color automatically stands out as a special vehicle. The rest of the colors are ordinary traffic.

CW is the only color exclusive to the Type R. Boost Blue can be found on regular base model Civics.

I wish they offered the Type R in Polished Metal Metallic but it wasn't meant to be.

Dream Automotive posted this earlier today on IG and thought the community would find this data curious. Not sure the source of the data; however, this generally tracks with my knowledge of the U.S. and Canada markets. I wasn't expecting such a big number for AUS.

So something odd is that If you add all the individual numbers (world, color, year) you get 42,226. So there is a typo in the total number or that total number was from a different report that is +300 higher? Build vs sales maybe?

If these numbers are true the the following is correct as of Jan 10/25:

% total by color

Worldwide
White - 56.2%
Blue - 15.3%
Gray - 13.2%
Black - 8.6%
Red - 6.7%

US - 29.4% of global production/sales
White - 6976
Blue - 1904
Gray - 1638
Black - 1059
Red - 839

Yeah these are built numbers, not sale.

For the entire world, that's one hella limited production car my guy
Especially considering Honda sells 16 to 20k regular civic per month in the US alone.

FWIW: Boost Blue (Racing Blue Pearl as known in other markets besides the US and Canada) is only available for the regular Civic in the US and Canada. The rest of the world had Crystal Blue Metallic as the available color for the FL1 Civic.

Boost Blue/Racing Blue Pearl is exclusive to the CTR in the ROW markets.

Originally supposed to be a 3 year production run. Would not surprise me if there is word this summer on a 2026 LE. Honda struggling with an electric Type R so this could be it for a long while.

Love the Shark Blue, had a GT4 RS configured in that color before backing out,.

BBP (RBP) with red interior looks really off, at least in Japan people who get an allocation can choose the color of the vehicle. (unlike the US where folks get stuck with what Honda NA decides to send to a particular dealership)

Racing Blue Pearl with the black Ultra Suede interior (Racing Black Package) is what I ended ordering.
