It fits!

just purchased a SGP FL5 and it fits in my garage just fine (after cleaning up some crap I had in front of the workbench)
Nice! How are you liking it so far?

Love it, no regrets (other than having to pay $2,000 over MSRP...)

few first impressions

I drove it like an old lady, no hard acceleration, no reving over 4,000 rpm, shifted frequently and varied the speed on the way home, about 90 miles.

the clutch is much lighter than my FA5 (2007 Si w/Exedy Stage 1 clutch and flywheel), engagement is very smooth, as is shifting (but at low rpm and slow/deliberate shifting)

rev match feels a bit weird to me, might take a while to get used to it (or disable it), yet I could not get comfortable with heel/toe. the brake and accelerator pedals seem to be positioned differently than that FA5

I do not like the shape nor feel/texture of the shift knob, moved my Razo 400 grip shaped shift knob over, but have not driven it yet

the brake pedal is much firmer, and engage almost immediately.

the ride on comfort is much nicer than I expected, given the low profile tires (and the fact that the dealer had them inflated to 40psi each), but have not driven it since I adjusted the tire pressure...

very surprised that the TPMS system does not report pressure and temp. seems to be the cheaper system based on the rev count from the ABS sensor, instead of the RF based system that transmits the pressure and temperature to the head unit (I had such a system installed in the FA5, worked perfectly)

remains to see how long the OEM tires will last. my previous set of Michelin PS AS4 lasted less than 14,000 miles (45K mile warranty)

+R is indeed to harsh/firm on Los Angeles freeways and streets, so instead of not using it, I ordered the ITS ADS control module (though then I might not use comfort as it might be too soft?)

visibility to the rear is more limited but okay, the hood is much much taller than the nearly invisible slopping hood on the FA5. as bad as my wife's Suburban :)

there is much less storage space inside and trunk. all the junk I collected over the past 15 years would not fit. center console much smaller. trunk could not fit the organizers that fit perfectly with some room to spare.

seems that the fuel tank is much smaller than the FA5, the range on my FA5 is about 350 miles, and seems that the range on the FL5 is going to be about 250 miles

did not expect to see a driveshaft hump/tunnel in the rear. FA5 had a flat floor.

I hope it does not mean that Honda intends on the SH-AWD in the future....

I was surprised that there was not HomeLink mirror (my dad's 2024 Odyssey has it), and yes, I know that I can order the mirror and harness, it is already in the shopping cart.

I am getting used to the digital gauges and display screen, though I still prefer the analog gauges

not sure if I like the drive aids, especially the one that steers the car for you... I might disable it. I never used cruise control, but will give it a try once am done breaking-in the car

figured out how to mount the front license plate bracket without drilling/screws. I just used zip ties... I placed it as far to the passenger side and as high as possible to avoid blocking air flow to the intercooler.

I have no idea how/where I would mount my ham radio or antenna (too tall for the roof, no trunk)

the new car smell is killing me, got home with a huge headache... I left the car with all windows open overnight, and today all day with the hatch and garage door open to get as much air/wind as possible. also hung several activated charcoal bags inside.

also ordered wheel lug nuts locks, and researching other anti theft options.
