Considering shifter upgrades, Acuity and PRL the only options for bushing kits?

Just to remove some of the rubberiness of the factory shifter I think after watching some videos on youtube that a kit that replaces the shifter bushings, cable bushings, and possibly the detent springs to increase resistance may be what I'm looking for. Is Acuity or PRL the brand to go with or is there something else I'm missing? And am I going down the right road buy swapping everything short of the shifter itself?

Huge fan of Acuity, their products are high quality and their customer service is top notch. I have the base and cable bushings from them and noticed a decent improvement over stock.

I believe you can go Hybrid Racing for these as well, plus detent springs. I don't have any experience with PRL but a lot of forum members have been having bad experiences with shipping and customer service so just something to note.

While I don't have Hybrid Racing shifter bushings in my CTR, I do have them in my Prelude SH. Quality is top notch and made a great improvement. Really like their stuff.

Personally, I like the feel of the CTR's shifter as is - wonder how much bushings would enhance? Already feels nice and positive to me, though not as direct as my S2K's.

I have the Acuity shifter bushings myself. I can't really tell any difference from stock, but they look hella-nice when I pop open the center console ........ o_O

I currently have the Super Shift Collars from Seeker, very similar to Hybrid Racing and Acuity, but instead of an all aluminum design they are made from urethane and they only replace the existing factory rubber bushings. They're a bit stiffer than the factory rubber, the difference in feel is negligible. I think the shifter cable bushings from Acuity I feel had a bigger difference than anything else.

I haven't tried the detent springs yet, but that is definitely up there on the list of upgrades for me.
