I’m betting paint. It’d be near impossible to find an exact match in powder coat…though I’m sure one might find a powder coat color that’s really close.

I wonder if they painted or powder coated the wheels to color match. I'm kinda tempted to do this to my OEMs as well.
ngl thinking about doing this for my CBP. Was thinking white oem wheels, spoon springs and like 15mm spacers... might be a look

If you do, we’ll (eventually) have twins… I was thinking of doing the same (my color preference is also CBP).

Has anyone come across the details of this car since the last post? Curious to know if the wheels were painted or powder coated.

From my own research there doesn't seem to be an exact powder coat that matches championship white. Everything I've seen that is close (ie RAL 9010) is a brighter white than CW. There is one company selling a powder coat that supposedly is CW, but I haven't found anyone that has used it to confirm.

Given how the wheels here look to be an exact color match I'm guessing these were painted, but want to know if anyone has seen details confirming this anywhere. Thanks!

So having done this to both my FK8 and my FL5, both times I had them painted. Then did a ceramic coat on them. We couldn't find a powder coat that would match the CW. (car was pretty dirty as we had just had a rain storm)

Ok wow that looks awesome. How hard was it to keep these wheels clean? Did the ceramic coat help a lot?

Ceramic coat helps a lot, but it's a chore to keep them clean. For track duty etc I use another set of wheels.
