Can't do that, the car isn't the Canadian market car.

The de5 is like 6 grand more and you get worst seats. Its. Ice that its got heated seats but the fact that its not built in Japan irks me haha

You could buy a barely used 2024 ITS for about 55k tho. Is that not a good deal?

The ITS isnt a special car. AT $55K would rather pay more and get the CTR. With only 540 units for Canada, it is likely it wont depreciate much. Even Fk8s (2900 for Canada) with low km cost more than what they were new.

What happened to all the FL5’s that were for sale in Canada? (Not that there were a ton) Seems like most of the ads have been taken down or maybe they were sold? I suspect dealers are waiting to see what happens with tariffs in the US and Honda cutting production so they can increase mark ups or something…

its definitely odd for sure. I reached out to 2 of the sellers I personally knew and they both sold around asking. Might be a seasonal thing now that the weather is warming up.

We also ended up finding our house way under budget and I am 100% keeping the car. Just might not be able to get it out until mid/end of May.

Just got back from picking up my FL5!! What a crazy few years it’s been, glad I was able to snag one after all. Sorry for the pic, car is dirty. I will give it a thorough decon and ceramic coat it in the coming weeks. Initial impressions is that it does in fact feel different then the DE5 I had, maybe it’s in my head, but these seats…just wow.

Thanks!!šŸ™ Indeed it did, wasn’t sure it ever would. Crazy to think that as soon as it was announced I had my name down and went through a few shady dealings with dealers only to stumble across this one 3 provinces over a few weeks ago. Glad it’s over lol. Hopefully everyone who has been waiting for one has got one or will soon.

FL5 is a so much fun in winter. When you do a tight turn, you get lift off oversteer because of the agile handling assist and VSA setup. It's way more aggresive than my old FK8 - I've had to catch it a few times.

Reminds me of a baby RWD setup lol
