It pretty much happened twice at the dealer I'm dealing with. I backed out of my allocation in June, next person with deposit on next allocation skipped, it became available and someone else on this forum managed to grab it. I never got my deposit back, so reached out to dealer and expressed interest in still getting the car, but their last allocation was already linked to a deposit. Found out today that person backed out, so it's mine, arriving around Friday! Had I not contacted them, car would be available again. So there could be more situations like this out there.

Technically this car is mine, spent 3 hours at the dealer yesterday to negotiate trading my 2024 circuit edition. Like I said before, I love my GR so this is complicated.

Unfortunately, after 2yrs+ waiting, my small market ON dealer decided they had no visibility on getting any allocation so returned my deposit. Since there are so many unfufilled orders with the larger market dealers I've given up hope on getting a new FL5 anytime soon. NowI have to get rid of these brand new Cartist 3 Pieces Floor Mat Set for 2024/2025 Honda Civic $60.00.....feel free to contact me if anyone is interested.

Have anyone of you shipped vehicles? I'm in Toronto and if I were to go for this, other than driving it back which is a mission, what other options are there?

I think @Apex Carver shipped his car from there to Alberta, so he may have some insight on how that works. I would probably drive it back, the distance isn’t too bad, just make a 2 day road trip out of it. You could ask the dealership if they have shipping options as well.

yep NB to AB so quite a distance. I looked an enclosed, open and rail for carriers and went with rail as it was the most economical and it’s in an enclosed rail car anyways. I was gonna get the car paint corrected and coated by my detailer friend so I wasn’t too concerned about contaminants like rail dust since it would be all taken care of anyways
