Anyone has experience on Dixcel pads? specifically on Z type. Trying to get Endless CC-RG from Black Hawk, but those are made to order with 1 month lead time, and they recommend Dixcel type Z. The number seems good, and price from their website seems very nice
curious was well. Their blank rotors prices are solid. Was considering them as track set of rotors. Def curious on their pads for occasional track use.

Updated: Added Dixcel compounds - 8 total.

I'm also curious to hear more about the Z-type pad. First time hearing about the brand.

Find a review with track use and compare between endless CC-RG, Project mu HC+ and dixel z type.
on spec, Z type can handle up to 850 deg C, so it handle the brake after main straight better than other 2. noise & dust are ranked number 2, slight better than project mu. the performance dropped significantly when the pad still has about 20% left, so the life would be worst of the 3.
This is in Mandarin, just incase anyone wants to see it as well.

I stumbled upon them but they apparently have a great reputation over seas. I found them because they sell 1pc rotors for the CTR that are pretty inexpensive for people looking to maybe have a spare track set without spending 2pc money.

I went ahead order the Z type pad from https://shopdixcel.com/ with code DRIFT15.
Fastest delivery I ever seen, like ordering from Amazon. I ordered on Monday, the UPS showed up at Tuesday lol.

The pad packs very well, comes with shim and a little pack of lubricant. The box used for package is very home style though

Def curious your feedback, especially if you track it. It’s supposedly a pad that can pull double duty. I’m about to pull the trigger on carbotech xp12/10 for track and 1521 for street. Since they are the same compound, no need to rebed when I swap pads. Having a good dual purpose would be even better though.

I had the 10/8 on the FK8 before. I thought they were pretty good at the Glen. It did squeal a lot. Every stop light. Oddly enough, I have the same setup on my S2000, almost no squeals.

Thanks for the feedback. You're right. It's more of a hybrid option for light track use. Just updated the chart.

I just did a complete brake job on my car and swapped to the Dixcel Z-type. My car won't see the track soon but the improved braking was immediately apparent with LESS DUST than stock. I'm about to buy a second complete set just to keep on hand for when I do brakes again.
