How many miles are you at

I assume your running with the intake and the blow off valve and all that. And I know you have your custom exhaust. At what mileage did you start your mods? And what are you at now? I'm at 3500 miles right now wondering if it's too early.
I started at where you are. i'm at 18,000 now. and just intake and exhaust when i was dyno'd

And so with KTuner when you want to make changes or test and customize your tune how do you do that? Go to a shop?

Yo guys so just wanted to give my feedback on this bov. I purchased through group buy a few weeks back. Over the weekend I had the car making some noise via bov like air being released. Car started saying emissions system problem. I dropped car to dealer and they have fixed all the codes but the bov is done. The piston is locked open, called boomba they are going to send me a replacement. Anyone have this problem before? 11th Gen Honda Civic Blow Off Valve - Boomba Racing IMG_1857.JPG 11th Gen Honda Civic Blow Off Valve - Boomba Racing IMG_1859.JPG

Well in the CVT, if you are cruising or not running enough throttle to get into boost it wont blow off every time. All its doing is releasing the built up pressure in the system to the atmosphere and the valve in the bov makes that noise. Boomba says they have no issue so far on their VTA that they tested, others say it will run your car rich, believe who you want and do what you want. I know what im doing but im not here to poopoo boomba's thread, they've been more than cordial to me an my thoughts here. they make good products and are an active vendor here. as for $170, you are not going to find a good name brand trusted one for less, unless you buy knockoffs from ebay
I'm really considering this BOV, but concerned with long term engine affects are dithering my buying decision. I believe someone on Boomba's YouTube commented that our Civic's have a map sensor "which should override the maf-sensor if it finds a differential in air at the intake manifold". I'm clueless when it comes to technicalities, but does anyone know if this claim is valid?

Boomba disabled comments on all their videos discussing their BOV for the 10th Gen Civic.

They have been quiet in this thread for over 4 months (even though they log in daily).

After doing some more digging, I noticed that they allow comments on their BOV YouTube videos for:

- 2017+ Fusion Sport
- 2015+ Volkswagen GTI
- 2015+ Ford Mustang Ecoboost
- 2015+ Subaru WRX
- 2014+ Ford Fiesta ST
- 2013-2016 3.5 & 2015 + 2.7 Ecoboost F150
- MK3 Focus RS
- etc.

However, the only disabled videos (3 to be exact) are all for:

- 2016+ Honda Civic

Do they not stand behind their product? Why the censorship of discussion?

DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR CIVIC, We are MAF based, you cant tune for it, you cant switch to MAP based, you cant run speed density. Do not put a VTA BOV on your Civic, whether base SI or Type R.

Mine just did the same thing. CVT as well. Was probably a initial bad batch.

Wow... all that wear you see around the end of that piston is because of incorrect tolerance of the piston and cylinder. Anybody know where Boomba is manufacturing their stuff? Because that's bottom of the barrel manufacturing quality.
