It's not you. Many of them sound the same. And the improvement in exhaust note relative to cost is a not so compelling proposition.

EXACTLY my thoughts.. Might just spend $400 and get the MRT catback.

Seems like Honda provided a great exhaust from the factory, most don't add that much power, and most aren't significantly lighter for the cost. Only if they could make it sound like the Type S would be the improvement.

I think it sounds good, pretty similar to some others. AWE makes good stuff. Definitely a big jump up from stock. I don't think the Milltek sounds any better for example and the AWE is likely slightly cheaper.

I also know it is hard to capture the true exhaust sound on video. I think my favorite exhaust I have heard is the LHT one-off full titanium, but that is not something you can just buy (except for whatever lucky person picked up the prototype).

If I go the full exhaust route this will definitely be at the top of my list. I am curious if the vid is of the "Touring" or "Track" configuration.

The primary difference between the CTR and ITS exhaust is the CTR has 2 resonators... I had an AWE exhaust on my GTI and loved it. Waiting to see what this one comes in at price wise. I like the look of the tips...

Sound was fine for me as well. If i can have control over the note from what we heard in video short and stock or close to it. I will gladly give my money to the local spot too

Perfect. I went AWE on my previous generation Type R. Time to go with the track version again on my 2023 on Boost Blue.
