It's the IC I had ordered, but they are still 6 months on backorder, did you get yours already?I went with the HKS because itās tube and fin and itās HKS and not PRL. Does it really matter, probably not. I want to think Iām like many that tracks no more than 10 times a year. It is a street car for the 365 days since I still have to drive to the track. We are all just doing a little here and there to better the cooling issue this platform has.

You're pretty much guaranteed a good intercooler as long as you choose a reputable brand. It doesn't really matter that you chose HKS or PRL like you said. The inherent problem that we won't be able to escape, unless Acuity puts their intake out, is that air really shouldn't be travelling directly above the super hot turbo. The problerm is also exacerbated by the water line that is directly behind the turbo as well.I went with the HKS because itās tube and fin and itās HKS and not PRL. HPS has a charge pipe kit that can be fitted to pretty much any intercooler. It's what I paired with my Airtec and I know of one car running the MDR intercooler that used it.RV6 coming out soon but no hardpipes, If I'm fitting a new IC, I want to do the pipes at thew same time to keep labor costs down
Thanks for that, much appreciated. Although its out of stock lolHPS has a charge pipe kit that can be fitted to pretty much any intercooler. It's what I paired with my Airtec and I know of one car running the MDR intercooler that used it.

I emailed Aquity back in December about the status of their intake. I was told that theyāre seeking CARB approval which is āa lengthy processā, in their words. They have no idea of when it will be released. You're pretty much guaranteed a good intercooler as long as you choose a reputable brand. Should be quick with the current administrationI emailed Aquity back in December about the status of their intake. I was told that theyāre seeking CARB approval which is āa lengthy processā, in their words. They have no idea of when it will be released.
They should just sell it to NON-CARB states in the mean time.I emailed Aquity back in December about the status of their intake. I was told that theyāre seeking CARB approval which is āa lengthy processā, in their words. They have no idea of when it will be released.
Swap in a LiFePo lightweight battery and your weight remains the same lolreached out to MDR and their intercooler weighs in at 29.5 pounds![]()
