Hello everyone,

I'm curious as to what catted dp people are running on their si's. I'm looking at ordering either the TSP or the 27won dp/fp combo as both do not create CEL. Looking for that deeper rumble but nothing too obnoxious for daily driving. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

(Already installed prl turbo Inlet/HVI and 27won intercooler)

I have the PRL. They stopped producing it, but TSP is making their exact design. I have never had a single code from it and TSP also says theirs won't throw a code.

Ran the PLM downpipe and frontpipe on my si when I had it with a Phearable tune and PRL HVI. Loved the way it sounded with the stock rear section completely left alone. PLM has a bad reputation but I never had any issues with their products nor service. Will throw a code without a tune though.

I went with TSP because it appears to have a better cat, which could make all the difference if you need to pass emissions or inspections, or just need to go back to stock tune for whatever reason. Mine's still in the box... just waiting on a front pipe so I don't have to take everything apart twice.

You are correct, the catalyst is the big difference. We use a 48 state EPA approved GESI catalyst. It is not cheap but we are not in the habit of cutting corners. This design was originated by PRL years ago before they changed the focus of their business and ceased production of downpipes. We have a hard time keeping them in stock but I am happy to say that today we do have good stock of the 11th gen 1.5T High Efficiency Downpipes.

The TSP seems to be the best one, but be prepared to wait. I ordered mine Feb 25th and it sounds like it's still going to be a month plus. 😔
