And lastly, it appears that these cars don't come with homelink. Which is a nuissance. How does the MyQ app integration work? Is it simple enough, or do you wind up having to dig through pages to open it, then click your button which sounds frustrating. Any better options? I have read of some people using a dimming mirror off the the integra or something which fixes both issues. May just do that.
I signed up for the MyQ app trial, which just expired

but I totally forgot to use it...

I just kept using the four button remote control, which I need anyway since it also controls the gates openers on the driveway, click the gate, click the garage, just like in my previous car ('07 FA5 Si),

I did read about people replacing the mirror (which also requires the wiring harness), though some people reported it not fitting perfectly (loose/wiggle), so I decided not to even try it. does it really make a difference if I press a button on the mirror or on the remote (which I clipped to the left side of the passenger's sunshade)

I installed the accord mirror. Pretty easy to do. It was a bit loose so I synched it down by bending the clips. Pretty stable now. A very tiny bit of vibration at cold idle. No biggy. Once u detest it doesn’t vibrate.
