How much power can the 1530cc injectors support? Duty cycle percent in the upper 500's?
I'll have to check some logs and follow up, to this point it has been a complete non issue thankfully.
What are you using as a fuel filter? JSR?
Not using one. For whatever reason the XDI pump seems to need one but I've never had or seen issues with other pumps.
I actually looked yesterday and no motec yet for FL5 still. Oh nice good info and thanks for the great response @Tougefl5
This is correct. Technically you can use the FK8 kit but you lose climate control and some of the other dash interface items - not worth it to me. :) Official FL5 Motec support should come before the end of the year and we are looking forward to it.

Like @Two Step Performance said, Motec for the FL5 is incoming.

Given the data running on 93 further up thread, what is the consensus on running the Kuro+ on stock fuel system pump gas? I would likely swap the turbo now, keep fuel stock, then do the fuel system in a year or so. Does it make sense to go down this path, or just get the standard Kuro and call it a day? I could throw an XDI pump on now if really necessary, but a full race pump and injectors would be a year out.

Don't do it...Research and try to comprehend your overall goals. You are talking about slapping in a Kuro or Kuro+ with the intent of using the stock fuel pump and injectors? The stock fuel pump and injectors are pretty much tapped out with the stock turbo assembly already. What other mods do you currently or plan to install before changing out the turbocharger assembly. This is not a plug and play situation. All modifications have to work together in a well designed and cohesive unit.

It's likely not ideal but I will realistically be going a similar route.

If you are a big numbers kind of person, there are many options to consider. Some look for sponsors whereas others learn on their own and pay out of their ass to achieve their desired goals.

The FL5 is an exceptionally designed platform from the factory. Things that tend to screw it up tend to be one off bolt-ons where the user has amplified expectations. Always better to look at ways of shedding heat first before pushing the performance envelope.

Build your fuel system first hpfp, injectors, canflex. With this you can max out oem turbo. Get tuned see if that's enough power for you. Bigger turbo you will need a fuel system. Stock turbo then you can max it out with fuel system. No matter what you will need a fuel system to make power.

This is fine but only makes sense if you are committed to the fuel system upgrade. You'll make ~440whp on a Kuro+ with the factory fuel system on 93 and will sore beyond 550whp with ethanol AFTER you upgrade the fuel system.

If you don't intend on ever using ethanol I'd stick with the standard Kuro and the factory fuel system.

Thanks, that would be the plan. Realize the standard Kuro makes more sense short term, but I would hate to limit myself long term and I have E85 readily available.
