I wonder why when I put in a 2025 Type R I get an oil capacity of 4.2 quarts with filter change vs for a 2023-2024 Type R it's 5.7 quarts on Amsoil and Google search. Is it a mistake or the 2025 engine is slightly different?

I used to own a 2023 SGP and I remember putting 5.7 quarts. Now I own a 2025 CW and i'm surprise with the different oil capacity since it's the same engine.

Any confirmation that it's a mistake from Amsoil and Google...Thanks

The 2025 owners manual will provide the oil change capacity. In general, the UK owners manual provides more service info than USA. Both are online.
My 2024 dipstick reads full at 5.5 quarts with a filter change.

As already said, always consult the automaker’s specifications. Never trust info from other sources, Google or otherwise.

Google AI is the worst, I bet they have messed up thousands of oil changes at this point.

I can confirm that oil capacity has NOT changed. Let's hope that Amsoil isn't getting their info from Google AI.

YES! Google AI is helpful in a lot of ways, but can be VERY wrong with some of the most important, specific, details.🤦‍♂️ Definitely take it with a BIG grain of salt and do your own research diligence with things that matter (like oil capacity or when to take the blue pill vs red pill).😅
