What are you using for the rear?
CSG CE1 and Girodisc.

I'll be running C11 and Girodisc here shortly. I'll get some measurements on the rear pad after 450+ laps too

yeah definitely consideration for the next set, despite the price but I would pay if the pads have great street maners but also excellent on track.

also J1avs 250 laps is probably a good 600 of my laps in terms of wear so these could last a LONG time

@J1Avs can you comment on the CSG pads you’ve used so far whether they squeal a lot in street driving? I’m looking into the Girodisc rotors front and rear but would only try out these CSG pads if they don’t squeal too much. Trying to appease the wife. Thanks.

Yeah definitely going to get these when I need new pads.

Cool. Looking on the website, why not just go with the CP? On their website it shows it has the most pad life.

https://www.counterspacegarage.com/csg-spec-brake-pads

The rear pads are all priced similarly. Wondering what the differences are
The CP is technically a Street Pad, but it can handle track use very well. It definitely has the most pad life on the street, because it operates the best at those lower temps. But, when comparing on track to on track, it does not have the same life as the C1X.

The rears are just slightly different in applications. CP = Street (and some Track duty), CE1 = Euduro (Think low Mu, low bite, long life), and C11 (Rear only compound, Digressive, but higher bite than CE1). I am going to be trying the C11 in the rear next, as I'm looking for a little bit more bite in the rear to pull some of the load off the front and reduce the amount of dive and load on the front tires before turn in.

CPs are dead quiet. That's your hybrid option. The C1X is also super quiet. Everyone once in a while I hear the tiniest squeal, but it's not regular and certainly not obnoxious. Nothing like what I experienced with PMU Racing999's or Carbotechs on other vehicles, where I was embarrassed at every light

I know you had said the GD rotors dissipate heat better than stock. Is this something you had measured or just going back the physical construct of the rotors?

I’m just asking before I order them…

Didn't measure -- just going back to construction and design. Pad life + Lack of Brownbos + Lack of Overheated Pads also demonstrates the effectiveness of the setup.

Do you know of the difference between the C12 and the C1XB?

I was just scrolling through and couldn't really find any info on it

C12 is a legit track only compound. Not recommended for street use at all — like don’t drive to and from the track on it. It will work, but wear is hyper accelerated outside of optimal temps. If your trailer, then go for it.

@J1Avs - did your friend not do cool down laps and hence the slight discolouration of the Brembo lettering? If so do you think shims might have prevented that?
