2024 CTR Incoming

Firstly, huge huge thanks for your motoring obsession site. It's such an amazing tool that has helped countless owners and prospective buyers including myself.

Secondly, not sure if it's worth adding to the conversation but I'll throw it out there, upon looking at the list of vins, it looks like the colors are in batches.

RX000124-RX000155 = white
RX000156-RX000184 = gray
RX000185-RX000214 = white again
RX000215-RX000277 = blue

...and so on. I don't believe color distribution is geography based; I think there's just so many more white units compared to all other colors. 719 MY 2024 units so far:

White	327​
Blue	201​
Grey	122​
Black	58​
Red	11​

Is anyone else not seeing these updates? I cleared cache and still no updates. I only see 610. Very frustrating. May try the old site.

Sorry, I should have clarified. My data source is different from the motoring obsession site. I track vessel manifest data - so units that arrive at a U.S sea port - and saw 719 units for MY 2024 that have left Japan so far. I'm not smart enough to build a map tracker out of it. Half of it would be in the middle of the ocean anyway lol.

Motoring obsession 610 numbers may be a mix of MY 2023 and MY 2024 units that are in-transit or on-site (units leaving the U.S port or already at the dealer.)

Thanks for the clarification, thought I was going crazy. Ya there have not been to many arrival updates on the site. maybe 5-10. No big arrivals like what I guess is coming in. Would be great to know where if there arrival in port is about to the US.

There was just a huge update on 11/29 there were 269 added

I believe the 2024s are incoming. Motoring Obession just dropped 269 cars and the VIN appear to be reset (one ended in 149).

The way you know for sure the new model year is the letter "R" is 2024 MY.

This is where you look. Here are 2 actual California cars. Compare the VIN numbers...

The digit you need to be looking for is this 10th one -- it used to be a "P" for 2023... now it's an "R" for the 2024 model year...

0 Red on motoring obsession and 3 2023s. So f*ckin annoying. I think someone said there were 15-20 red on the boat but no where to be found.
