No I meant Type R. The integra Type S will no doubt come out, but if you believe that there will be no ITR, than you are naive. Honda will release an ICE last generation ITR before they fully commit to electrifying the entire lineup. They didn't rerelease the iconic integra nameplate to stop at a type S version.
lol i can guarantee you with a $100 bet that acura will not release a type r integra

I'd sooner try to jump to the moon than try to understand Boosts logic on just about anything. Impossible to debate or discuss someone who cares not for facts or admits when he is incorrect... which is basically all the time.
funny cause paying 10k over sticker makes no fcking sense to me.

Even with the lower 5K ADM the car is right at 50K. It seems most dealers are shooting for 7-10K ADM or "accessories".

Thoughts on this? Still plan to buy if you have to pay 50-60K?

With tax and fees they will all be upper 40s before any ADM.

That 50k or slightly above (51-52k) is my absolute upper limit. I can afford more, but I just can’t reasonably justify spending it.

I'm still on the MSRP or not at all train. I bought my 2020 for MSRP which I know was rare and it will be even harder this round, but I am just not willing to pay 50K before taxes etc for it.

Acura is not going to make a Type R and a Type S. I'm confident it will only be Type S.
the guy who owns no Honda's or acura's clearly knows what is going on...lol

The GRC is a 1.6l 3. Once the difference in engine architecture is considered, any other comparison is moot.
that 1.6 I3 has already been proven to hold 600+ HP like a champ. That's a beast on an engine and it's tuning scene is going to be stronger than the 2.0 K20C1 i'm absolutely positive...

Working at the plant that manufactures acuras. I can say I'm pretty sure they are not making an ITR lol. I can't say much more that. So I second this. Pretty sure Type S is what's coming.

Actually, probably not. Which has me feeling all sorts of conflicted emotions, but I don't really want the car at that price point. I start seeing its flaws rather than its benefits.

You don't think they will be able to sell these? Lol. MSRP is an absolute steal. If you don't believe me, call every dealer around you and see if you can find one that is willing to sell you one at MSRP.
But that wasn’t my point. At the end I even pondered if the demographic of the average Type R owner had changed.

In the past the Si buyer and the Type R buyer were essentially the same person. They were simply willing to get a larger loan to cover the 10k gap between the Si and Type R price. Now that interest rates have increased dramatically and WILL INCREASE AGAIN before these cars actually hit dealerships coupled with the now 15k gap in price between the two cars who is the new “Average” buyer of the type r?
