It's technically 5.5k higher than 2021 model which started at $37,495. Would be larger gap over first year of the car.

However this price is only 1k less than the Limited Edition, GRC circuit edit, and Golf R. So yeah, this price is spicy. Geez!

It's what I expected price-wise tbh, thankfully this is right within my budget IF I can find a MSRP one. I'm not in a rush so I imagine in a few months it may be possible. It's this or a GRC... or if I give up a Mustang ('21 Bullitt would be my choice atm). I'm not too particular since this is just going to be a family car I can have fun with until I can re-add another sports car to our household.

The MSRP will be the new FL5’s Achilles’s heel. $7k more than a based GR corolla. And this is before dealership mark ups. Yikes.
