Are chassis code and engine are 1 to 1? Or is it possible to have a different engine type with the same chassis code. For example if they has a 1.6 NA that could fit in the FE1 housing?See OP’s post:

Yup, they might just change the turbo, inlet pipe, and Maf size again or whatever. Wish it had stronger internals and clutch than normal civics but we’ll see. Probably cheaper for them to do it this way.

It’s possible before the 10th gen. The 10th-gen Si sedan shares the same code with the regular sedan along with engine displacement.
Auto RevMatch! Yes! Hopefully 210hp or so, ohh and BOSE pretty please!Good catch on updates to manual! And on p.750:
Unleaded premium gasoline, Pump octane number of 91 or higher*2 (*2 Manual transmission models)But no power figures in the specifications.
From what I can deduct from the manual, all Si's will come with the Bose sound system. However there will be two different Si models:Auto RevMatch! Yes! Hopefully 210hp or so, ohh and BOSE pretty please!
When you're slick shifting with autorev match who needs a freaking compass or navi plus we get Wireless apple/Android auto too Mine goes into prod 11/15-11/19 I'm trading in my 2020 Si. Thanks to Honda engineers. Who knows the manual says we can US spec it with spare tire. So maybe we will get the si touring after all. From what I can deduct from the manual, all Si's will come with the Bose sound system. However there will be two different Si models:
1. 9" touchscreen NO NAVI w/ the 7" half-digital cluster
2. 9" touchscreen WITH NAVI w/ the 10.2" fully digital cluster
I'm thinking the US won't get navigation and Canada will (historically speaking that's how it's been with the Si models), or navigation could be optioned. Again I'm just assuming here from the owners manual here and could be interpreting it wrong.

Nice! Hopefully suspension tuning will be separate for the Type R as well ? (finally catching up to the Hyundai N vehicles)It now will come with an Individual Mode to customize engine (throttle response?) and steering individually which is interesting.
Didn’t Hyundai switch back to one trim level for N models? They use to do a base and then a performance pack on the Veloster N but now it’s just one trim.Nice! Hopefully suspension tuning will be separate for the Type R as well ? (finally catching up to the Hyundai N vehicles)
I, along with a number of other Type R owners, have been asking Honda to allow the +R settings (throttle, steering, suspension, etc.) to be adjusted separately.Nice! Hopefully suspension tuning will be separate for the Type R as well ? (finally catching up to the Hyundai N vehicles)
Hyundai did advertise it like crazy but actually Honda is one of the few without the feature. Even GLI has it lol(finally catching up to the Hyundai N vehicles)
They had base 250hp at $28k and Performance pack at $30k.Didn’t Hyundai switch back to one trim level for N models? They use to do a base and then a performance pack on the Veloster N but now it’s just one trim.
