  1. 9” Touring/TypeR/Si Radio Swap into EX and Lower basically impossible.

Okay, i just finished everything up and it works flawlessly! Sound quality is so much better surprisingly! The install was tedious and brain demanding though, definitely not something for everyone.
  2. 9” Touring/TypeR/Si Radio Swap into EX and Lower basically impossible.

Quick update: all the wiring harnesses are almost done. Heads up on a couple of things not mentioned in the video: you’ll need to run power from the under-dash fuse box (Slot 32, but I’ll double-check that) to the Display Unit and find a good ground, like G011 or G013. The display unit is fused...
  3. 9” Touring/TypeR/Si Radio Swap into EX and Lower basically impossible.

I will once all the parts get delivered. I did, just like him end up buying the entire harness for peace of mind. Now we can only hope, that there isn’t some weird incompatibility between the HR-V receiver and the Civic Can bus Network.
  4. 9” Touring/TypeR/Si Radio Swap into EX and Lower basically impossible.

I ordered everything he used in the Video except for the HR-V Display, i found a Civic Display that i ordered instead. After some communication with him he told me that the HR-V Receiver will work just fine in the civic and is the easiest option to get this to work. I will report back once i...
  5. Sound System Upgrade for non-bose Civics

You may be satisfied with just new speakers. Everyone has different demands, i just think that the stock unit doesn’t have the range for a full sound. Deep bass is basically non existent however it can be improved if you deactivate the Equalizer and ANC in the Service Menu on the head unit, you...
  6. Sound System Upgrade for non-bose Civics

You do you, but those speakers won’t sound good without one. The stock headunit by itself is so bad even new speakers won’t change that
  7. Sound System Upgrade for non-bose Civics

That should work! Are you going to use an Amp?
  8. Sound System Upgrade for non-bose Civics

I sure did and it sounds soooo much better now! The front tweeter’s are a little tricky! As nothing really fits in there, i had to plastic weld my tweeters to make them stay in there. Also make sure you don’t block or damage your airbag!
  9. Civic Sport to Touring Gauge Cluster swap.

I actually went a little further, i bought a Acura Integra Base cluster which is actually more compatible with a Sport trim Civic. The touring cluster does not give you an option to change your Vehicle settings whereas the Integra Base cluster does! It also doesn’t look for parking sensors or...
  10. 9” Touring/TypeR/Si Radio Swap into EX and Lower basically impossible.

Woah! That is great to know! I will look into this!
  11. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

Acura Cluster came in. Works as it should! Vehicle settings are now adjustable like before with the half digital cluster! You still get warnings for Blind Spot and Brake System however now the TPMS light will stay on since Acura has actual tpms readouts whereas honda doesn’t!. I like this gauge...
  12. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

I strongly believe that the acura logo will pop up. I’m okay with that, however most aren’t! The Base integra is the only Cluster that will fit and has Vehicle Settings integrated. All the other clusters don’t. Without Vehicle settings being accessible this cluster swap is a deal breaker for...
  13. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

Alright i just ordered a Acura integra Base cluster that has Vehicle settings integrated therefore omitting the need for a Bose Radio! Will report back once i get it installed!
  14. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

For those that have the small 7” Radio and are trying to do this swap, be aware that you will lose Vehicle settings! I noticed that last night, the touring cluster does not come with that functionality since everything in a touring is being controlled with the Bose Radio! This is almost a...
  15. Civic Sport to Touring Gauge Cluster swap.

Temperature gauge works as it should! This light will stay illuminated because it thinks something is wrong with the Brake System Mode selections Work as they should (Sport and Touring Models only) Touring steering wheel in action, i transferred over the Black trim at the bottom because i...
  16. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

So, the Cluster and Steering wheel came in and i can only say wow! Everything works as it should!! Coolant Temp works! Music information works! However you will get warning messages for Blind Spot fault, Low speed braking fault, Parking Sensor fault since the US Sport model is not equipped with...
  17. Civic Sport to Touring Gauge Cluster swap.

So, the Cluster and Steering wheel came in and i can only say wow! Everything works as it should!! I will add more pictures later! Coolant Temp works! Music information works! However you will get warning messages for Blind Spot fault, Low speed braking fault, Parking Sensor fault since the US...
  18. **FL5 Cluster in '24 SI?**

I know this is a Si thread but its the only Thread in the whole internet World that goes over Cluster Swapping. So here i am lol. I ordered a Touring Cluster and Steering Wheel for my 2.Slow Sport. I absolutely hate the fact that i cant see Coolant Temp and Music information and decided that has...
  19. Civic Sport to Touring Gauge Cluster swap.

I just ordered a used Touring Cluster and Steering Wheel for 300 bucks to once and for all figure out if i can swap my half Digital Cluster for the touring one. Not having temp and music info is ridiculous. If it works then ill shell out the extra money to have correct odometer miles programmed...
  20. Sound System Upgrade for non-bose Civics

Hey everyone, so we all know that the non-Bose sound system in our Civics is disastrous! Ive been doing some research in regards to swapping the 9” Receiver and Factory Bose amp into my Sport and came to the obvious conclusion that it’s nearly impossible. However something needs to change...
