Initial impressions?
Ok. So it’s softer in comfort. Not a ton but is floats a little more over the rough roads which is great. R is R mode and that’s the buckboard we all know. Only think to make is softer now would be more tire sidewall. I’m good with just the module For the money I can see it would be really good as a daily driver.

Finally was able to take a drive down to the beach today. Been driving the wife’s Pilot for the last two weeks, waiting for the salt to be washed off the road. This car is such a delight. The lively suspension, wonderful shifter/clutch and snappy turn in. I love how the front LSD just pulls the front end around corners under power. Huge smile on my face afterwards. Over a year later and I’m still enjoying the experience.

After several months of YouTube vinyl wrapping videos, my first project is ready to install! In hindsight, I would've picked something more fun (read: easier) to start with--the fins on these Mugen mirror caps were a NUISANCE to figure out.

(Also, it occurred to me that there's some irony in my putting $50 in vinyl on $200 mirror caps to protect PPF'd and ceramic-coated mirrors which probably cost $90 for the dealership to replace. 🤦‍♂️)

This is all probably in my head but...

If I am in comfort mode I feel the ride is more forgiving than if I am in individual mode and have the damping set to comfort. If you get a chance... See for yourself and let me know what you think.

We got enough decent weather for me to get busy, but it was only enough time for me to tear things apart--since then, I've been tinkering in the cold:

Custom-wrapped Mugen Mirror Caps sourced from Black Hawk (P/N 76205-XNR-60S0-ZZ)

Cusco High Position Rear Wing Brackets sourced from RHD Japan (P/N 3F7-821-A)

JDM Door Handle & Map Compartment LED Kit sourced from Black Hawk (P/N 08E10-T43-001B)

The door LEDs are nowhere close to the intensity of this photo (though I would honestly love it if they were).

I have the JDM footwell and under-seat light LED kit, JDM cupholder and center console LED kit, rear vents, alcantara boot, and new shift knob left to install... I may soon need a build journal to organize this rolling glowstick I'm creating.

Planning on doing all the JDM led light kits. A write up on those would be great!

When you get to the under seat lights, please share pictures. I’ve yet to get mine installed. I like what you did with the mirror caps. Looks different.
Do these light up the rear footwells? Is that the idea?

My one kid is seriously disgruntled by the lack of rear seat lighting, considering the opulence of the front seats where only his older brother can sit. I think doing a rear footwell lighting mod might count as a main birthday present for him haha

Yes, I think they will light up the back (a little). Judging from the amount of light emitted through the other accessories I’m going to say, it’s going to be minimal.
