In Vehicle Settings, there's an item called Stop Lights Display.
I searched for "stop lights display" in the manual and got nothing.
But I found this Tacoma video that shows it really well:
at 12m36s.

It shows 2 red bars on the bottom of the MID when you hit your brakes. That's only really useful if one of these lights turns off when braking if one of your bulbs is not working. Otherwise, I'm not sure it's too useful. Anyway, this setting was a mystery until I found that video.

It's also useful to see when the 4runner brakes for you as part of one of the safety features - and I wish it wouldn't brake so soon (and I have it on the minimum setting)

just a note, if you let the vehicle brake for you, dont be surprised when you have to replaced your brake pads at 20k miles.

on the tundra forums, people were finding out the radar CC was burning thru brake pads in 20k miles or less.
