I took a short cruise to test whether I could eliminate an annoying rattle, and while at the park, I ran into an FK8. The rattle was coming from the area beneath the rearview mirror, inside that little box. I added a good amount of sound deadening material, and so far, it seems to have worked perfectly. Now, I just have to wait for colder weather to see if it holds up.
I've had the car for 22 months and made several upgrades. I added tint for interior protection, an OEM carbon fiber console (accidentally ordered while checking prices, ha!), and 18-inch Titan 7 wheels with 265/35/18 tires.
I did a resonator delete with the valve open—huge improvement in sound. One of my favorite mods is the Honda carbon fiber wing. I also added rock guard mesh for the vents and an Alcantara shift boot.
Next up, in about 10 days, I'll be installing a Project Aero front lip splitter. Oh, and I got all-season weather mats for extra protection.
