Title says it all
None of that nasty build quality (gaps in infotainment screens, leaking hatches as I read on fb groups from mainly US Civics...) on our EU hybrids as far as I can say till now.
Will try and go chronological.
So, since the 15th of July, proud owner of an European FL4 e:HEV hybrid, Advance spec, Platinum White Pearl.
Ordered 19th of November 2022
Arrived at the dealers 11 July 2024
Took delivery 15th of July 2024
Thats the toptrim here with all the bells and whistles.
Yes we have
(granted, a few on that list are only for the toptrim 'Advance')
So, it took 20 months to deliver and had already made a deal to take over my 10th gen for a nice fixed price, even after 20 months of waiting.
Meanwhile prices soared on these, so its a win-win for me in the end.
So I took advantage of that situation and treated myself with a bunch of OEM options, including Premium Light Pack from the dealer. (no ambient light option available in the US?
)
+ Puddle Light kit and a trunk light kit ordered from Blackhawk in Japan.
Here you see a nice overview video of all those light goodies installed on mine
Other stuff are the HPD wing (not a EU option), mudguards, some 3M tape surounding the door edges, the insides of the door handles and the entry of the trunk. (have experienced many scratches of there on my 10th gen Civ....
), fancy Mugen key case, and yes, some Type R emblems :censored:
And Temu black wing mirror covers
I did remove all other letterings from the back, going for a minimalist look.
So with everything installed already, this is surely a rare kind 'luxury hatch'

I did install the HPD wing myself, wich I am kinda proud of lol
And I am planning to get the OEM window visors, first not sure, but after seeing pictures, it will look fine.
Got the Mugen visors on my 10th gen, but these would be a bit 'too much' on the 11th gen with its finer lines....
And whatever chrome strips are still visable after installing the visors, I will wrap them in black (by a specialist), like I did with my 10th gen.
And last but not least, also planning to get the trunk tray and back seat protectors.
Picture time!
