OEM fog light options for US 2024 Si

I was initially hoping to be able to use the headlight stalk from the US Touring model in the Si for an OEM fog light install, but from reading on here, I'm not sure that it will plug into the Si harness. If I'm right about that and still want to use the OEM fog lights, what's the preferred install method? ...use a switch and tap into something where the power goes on/off with the car, or no switch and tap into the headlights directly so they come on/off automatically with the headlights? Thanks in advance for any tips or links to video walk throughs.
