Anyone here has/is doing the LRP AutoX? Its pretty sweet course and how auto X should be, 4 hours, get tons of seat time and almost a mile corse, no cones. I had run this course before on my other car but was on car control clinics so I never ran for time (its way more fun to just drift the course on a rwd car). This time I went for time and I did pretty decent for my first time (46.4xx). Not gonna lie the Type R was excellent, its at home on this type of place. I did get the oil temp to 250 and was 75 out only, I will definitely be over heading this thing on the big track (didn't last time but was like 75 too) on a hot day.

Anyways, if you are around LRP I recommend going to do the Auto X, also the full track is amazing of course but I know a lot of people are scared of something happening to their car, this is as safe as it can be, tons of grass, nothing to hit and its super fun with the timing.
Stop spending money on dumb mods that do nothing for the car and go drive your cars at the track, it won't explode and its some of the most fun times I ever had.

I've visited Limerock many times for pro, vintage, and SCCA events, but never raced there. I agree the AutoX track is great. A friend used to run endurance team Karting events on that track, but my schedule never aligned to join him.
The big track's downhill sweeper before the main straight claimed a life at a vintage event a few years back, so caution there would be advised. I've seen other bad wrecks at that curve too. The rest of the big track corners aren't as fast (2nd or 3rd gear).
I retired and escaped New England a couple years ago. Limerick is the best spectator sports car track I've ever visited, and the drive too and from was always fun.

Its an excellent track for sure, I have driven the big track probably 10-12 times and does not get old. Its short and fast so you get to correct your mistakes every minute basically. Its a great place.

Also I agree the downhill sweeper is probably the most dangerous (even though the turn into the uphill feels the most sketchy to me). I have seen the most accidents on the downhill, last time was a lotus elise, likely lift oversteer. Hopefully will be out at the big track foe my bday in August and will try to squeeze another auto x soon because that was super fun
