Had mine
Update. it's been unusually hot and my replaced trim piece did not solve the tick issue. The tick is back, and I still can't figure out where it's coming from.
Had my trim piece going crazy today, started colder and heated up by midday and it starting ticking a bunch. Probably not gonna do much about it tbh. It's not annoying enough for me to let anyone try and fix it.

The last time I took my car in for service they scratched the living shit outta my front wheels and had the gall to give me the car back and think i wouldn't notice.

Thanks for the update. I did replace the trim as well. It was quiet for the first day or so. Then, the tick came back. After my research, I think the cause of the tick should be the top portion of that trim which clips onto the other trim piece. When it absorbs heat from the sun, it experiences thermal expansion and produces the tick. I can't find any other place which would cause the tick from that area. I did purchase another trim piece from Honda and wanted to felt tape that top portion I was mentioning to see if it'd solve the issue. But I haven't got a chance to do so.. If I do, I'll let you know how it turns out. Or if you find other solution, please let me know.

I didn't do anything and the ticking completely went away on its own. Knock on wood...

This thread is the only thread I've come across with the exact same issue I've been having for the past year or so. I have the exact same ticking/clicking sound, but mine is on the passenger side, though it's just as annoying. I've taken it into multiple dealerships countless times in the past few months just to have them "fix" it and the noise come back a few days later. One of the mechanics at a dealership suspected it may be coming from the backseat latch and the backseat airbag holder screw, but any attempt at greasing or fixing that led to nothing.

I haven't looked at the outside trim pieces just yet, but I've essentially taken apart the inside as much as I'm comfortable doing myself, including back seat cushions, b pillar panels, seat belts, door panels. Even with all of that off, I can still here it driving around. Like you, the noise is way more apparent when it's hot out. Didn't really notice it last winter, but this past summer the noise was happening almost every day. As I keep trying to troubleshoot, I do agree that it might be the outside trim pieces, but I'm not comfortable taking that apart just yet.

Let me know how the replacement trim pieces turn out. I'll update as well, as I continue to fiddle around with it myself. Also, does anyone think it would have anything to do with the suspension?

I have this issue too. It only happens when the sun is out. I’ve never heard the ticking at night. I always suspected it was the trim piece expanding in the heat. Sounds like a design issue. Doubt there is much that can be done long term to fix this without a different design to the trim piece. Doesn’t help that the piece is black which heats up fast whenever the sun is on it.

I have an early 2023 and it made this noise quite a bit when I first got the car and it was hot outside. I can report the noise is very rare now almost 2 years later.

Ceramic tinted windows all the way around would probably help to.

I've just accepted this sound at this point, no real bother to me (and I'm someone who is incredibly sensitive to small rattles and sounds) and I've accepted that its the way the car is. Rather not have a dealer pull it off, fuck something up, give the car back and it's still happening.

I have this exact issue on my May 2024 build (before and after window tint). It's very random when it happens (whether car is in or off) and very annoying when I want a quiet morning drive.

I have this noise. Tick, tick on the drivers side. Goes away if I put the window down and back up. Doesn't bother me. I only notice it once in a while if the radio is turned down.
