So for the entire winter I have had a rattle/buzz more so when colder out but now when it’s warm upon acceleration & decel after 3500rpm. Sounds like it’s coming from the front right passenger side closest to the Apillar front windshield area.
I am no mechanic but have taken apart the door card , seatbelt areas , glove box and several other parts with no luck . This is on a de5 type s.
While the apillar was off I noticed possibly something that could be the cause I Hope but need some help. With the APillar plastic removed there’s seems to be a hole closest to the windshield. If I look down that hold with a flashlight I can see a bar rubbing something with paint flaking off . I have no clue what it is or if it is the cause . I also have no clue how to access that area and if I have to take the entire dash off I don’t feel to confident doing so . Really hoping one of you can help me out .
