I haven't update you guys but I now got those 2 parts in my car. It's running fairly nice though it lags under 3.5k. Some nvh issues from higher flowing dp but restrictive oem exhaust so I'll be changing that.

I wanna run ethanol, say e20 for cooling effect, but I dont wanna have to change the fuel fuel filter every year or less than that. JSR has a solution for it but costs almost 2k so hmmmm.

Running the Full Race fuel pump and Hondata 1530s without flex fuel should be a crime. :p Unless their are some weird AU ethanol issues there is no reason to worry about the fuel filter.

Haha i understand.

Isn't it true that ethanol eats away oem filter unit since it's made of paper? How do you go about it? ID F750 fuel filter?

Looking to get Hondata canflex as well when it's on sale. Should i go for prl one instead or is Canflex better?

The ID F750 filter is not commonly used outside of owners of the XDI fuel pump that want to provide it extra protection for the most part, they recommend using a filter and we've seen failures for some that did not.

Both kits are fine for FK8. For the FL5, only the Hondata kit has software support.

I also forgot to mention that the amazing team over at TSP has the Full Race Fuel Pump and Hondata 1530cc injectors, along with everything else that's 🔥 for the FL5.

I order a good amount from them!

Thanks for the kind words but I will warn that the 1530s are out of stock at the moment. Hondata and their manufacturing partner have not been able to keep up with the demand.

...Anytime!

Just installed your downpipe on my FL5, and the difference is incredible. Thanks for making such an awesome product—I can see why it gets so much hype! I almost wish I had waited for a Cerakoted one, but with the Hybrid hardlagged blanket, I’m actually in better shape than I expected.

For anyone looking for a high-quality downpipe that won’t throw a CEL, I highly recommend the TSP 5" HEDP.

With the hybrid blanket, my IAT2 temps stay between 64°F-75°F all day here in South Florida—paired with a hardlagged turbo heat shield, FMIC, and Titanium Turbo Inlet.

I'm saving up now for an exhaust kit that utilizes the oem valve in either a stainless or titanium version but might take a bit as I'm a single dad and have priorities...It's on my top 3 mods left to do though before I'm prettt much done with my build as far as perfomance mods.

Thank you very much for offering Affirm and GovX on your site! That really helps me out big time!

I see. So what do I do with the lpfp and fuel filter? Leave them like that?

Yes, unless you are running ethanol and venturing beyond 500whp the OEM LPFP is fine.

Hey man. I no longer in in Aus sadly. Idk how to remove the flah.

Anyways, the problem with in the paper filter is still there. JSR replace the whole system with Hellcat or whatever they are using at a hefty price. Mine is FK8 and this is FL5 forum. Not sure if the fuel system of our cars are the same.

As I am writing this, I realize that I have no idea how the fuel system work. Lpfp pumps fuel from the tank. The fuel passess through the OEM paper filter and travels to the hpfp in the engine bay. Is this correct? Your line with an integrated filter replaces the line that carries the fuel from paper filter to the hpfp, right?

Sad, maybe one day you can return.

With my solution you can opt to delete the OE paper filter attached to the OE pump and rely entirely on a filter such as an ID F1250 that has dual filter metal elements inside.

Alternatively put in an aftermarket pump with its own aftermarket filter made of synthetics that’s attached to the pump.
