Just a word of warning for anyone using the OE front license plate holder, the bumper and paint are super soft and the back of the holder braces against the bumper with only two thin plastic cards. Any slight impact will drive those cards into the bumper and you will have grooves there. It could also cause a crease in the bumper in addition to the groove.

I would search for a different mounting solution.

Was like that on my ‘09 Si too. Pissed me off when I found that someone tapped my front bumper in a parking lot. Of course I didn’t see it right away. Left a nice little crease in the bumper and some scratches thru the clear coat. So when my FL5 came in I told the dealer to definitely NOT install the front plate bracket. I bought a Sly Bracket. Works very well, but might get a good stow and show type bracket whenever those become available.

@sam3r_11 Sly Bracket works the same way. It is drill-less and attaches to the grill. What’s really nice about the Sly Bracket is that it is highly adjustable, so you can position your license plate pretty much exactly where you want it regardless of the grill pattern. Once you position the bracket bolts, the bracket can be adjusted up/down and side to side. It also costs less than the Kollektivwerks. I got the Sly Bracket with the 4 screw plate holder option. In all $80 + shipping. https://www.slybrackets.com/

Yes, I’m pretty positive you can use a license plate cover with the provided hardware.

Maybe I'm low rent, but I put my front plate on with the ol' zip tie special 😂
