Interesting, whereabouts?

Did the math and converted that at the time of purchase i count $58K. Also got like 5% discount and a couple of extras thrown in (mats, locking nuts etc).

This is Sweden, Europe. Even if we don't have dealer markups they are scares. We only got 9 FL5s for the whole country 2023, and now maybe 10-15 more for 2024
Oh wow I guess cdns shouldn't be complaining, we only got a few hundred cars, but our price out the door is less than 45k USD.

I agree the choice of rear seat fabric on the USDM car is an interesting one. I had the conversion done last year. I'm very happy with it. It does tie the front together quite nicely. I'm also glad the rear seats are not red since it would be red overload on the interior.
Where did you get your rear seat? How much?

See Post #660 in the "What did you do your FL5 thread?" for the part numbers. The shop did not use Parts 10 and 11, but I felt better having them just in case. They're also super cheap.

The initial post is Post #610 in the same thread which includes a few photos if you're interested. I purchased from JDMYamato and it was ~$1,500 shipped. I can't speak to current availability and/or pricing.

PT is Portugal. 73.000 € out the door (has since increased to close to 75k) . MSRP. No discount or free accessories. There’s a waitlist and not enough cars to go around, so why would they.

Ok, that’s about 10.000 € more than Germany (the other market I have an eye on and quotes prices in €). My experience is that actually Sweden is at the ā€œlowerā€ end of pricing across Europe and not that hard on taxing enthusiast cars (like our neighbours).

Regarding discounts and getting some things ā€œthrown inā€, I think its just mentality on how the market works. Yes, they are scares here as well, but its like ā€œgood praxisā€ to get a couple of % off and floormats and some goodies for the price.

But it’s still an expensive car and Europe is in a recession so they are keen to make a sale ā€œrather this week than the nextā€, so its not totally the sellers’ market.

Funnily enough, in Sweden you can still buy the likes of a GR86 under list price as well as other enthusiast cars that in other markets are ā€œsold out in minutesā€.

Portugal is actually on my list for this summer European car trip :) If you can recommend any nice roads / regions? Planning to go down trough France were I have some routes planned.

My plan is for Portugal is not until next year, but I’ve already made initial research and planning. Portugal experiences hot and dry summer weather, where the temperature frequently surpasses 30°C (86°F) and can even go higher. Nonetheless, this is considered a high tourist season particularly on the beaches of Algarve coast so I've planned it for September or October. A road trip between Lisbon and the Algarve takes around 2.5 hours by car and is arguably the best way to experience both destinations, as well as everything in between. Other recommended road trip includes Sinta, Nazare, Fatima, and Douro Valley https://twotravelingtexans.com/portugal-road-trip-itinerary/

Another reason why I’m planning to visit Portugal in autumn is it coincides with the grape harvest season. Would you be renting a car in Portugal, @Brickstrom? I’m planning to engage a local guide from https://gowithguide.com/portugal/guides but would love to hear suggestions on car rental companies in Portugal.
