Don't know if you guys have seen this yet but I think its a beautiful option for a single exhaust system. It reminds me of the ever so popular Js racing 70RS "dolphin tip" muffler. The price point is $2400.

I haven't found any FL5 exhaust clips, but here are some possibilities. Best of the first clip starts at 9:10 IMO, but you can also watch at 4:10

I think it looks kind of goofy IMO. I think turn-down exhausts look better on motorcycle exhausts where it's more of a curved right-angle. This sort of looks...flacid.

I like the downturn look, but for some reason single tips on our cars just look a bit out of place. But I've also never seen a double or triple downturn pipe so can't say if that would look better or not.

Edit: It does have a nice tone on NA cars though. And I haven't heard a clip of the Mugen single exit exhaust yet so maybe the singles sound really good?

That's fair. I was a fan of the J's turn down and for me to see something similar on an FL5, executed very nicely, I dig it.

I wonder if there's any correlation to how we view the triple exhaust from the jump? As I've never cared for the triple myself, it has grown on me. I know whatever exhaust I do end up buying, it'll be a single. I've seen one double, slight turn down, from an FK8 fitted to an FL5, it was bulky in appearance but sounded nice.

the mugen single sounds nice, a bit bland for me, for the coin, I'd prefer to keep it stock w/ a resonator delete.

a collective of exhaust sounds by vivid racing

I'm the same way. Triple tip now means type R to me, when at first I didn't really like the look. I'm sure as we see more singles out there we'll all get more used to it.

double or triple only. single is wonky.
I can see that stance on the subject. I think Mugen did something special with their single exhaust cover.

Turn down is dope. Just not for a center exhaust set up.
....some better angles might help the appreciation, might not, but I'd like to see more of it.
