Help, I posted how my car was stolen and set on fire. So my Dad helped me get another car because insurance is going no where. I got the car delivered and it came with road tar and yellow paint all over it!!
I went to a detailer and he quoted me $1,100 to get it off with no damage. I obviously asked the delivery company to pay for it and they found another detailer and assured me he knew what he was doing.
I’m young and stupid so I trusted them and he fcked up my car.
Scratches everywhere and chips in the paint and rims. I contacted them again and they won’t pay anymore to fix the car.
I just bought a car so I cannot afford an expensive bill to get it fixed. Any recommendations to fix this myself even a little.

I’m just overall very confused by this whole story but very sad that this all happened to you.

1) If your car had full coverage, not sure why you would buy a car before they were able to provide you with the reimbursement amount; even if you had to wait a little bit.
2) I’m assuming you used a third party transport company? As long as there were clean pre-load photos and dirty post-load photos, they should have covered the cost for you. At this point though, unfortunately I don’t think you have much you can do. The transport company will now be able to blame the shop for the damages and the shop will blame the transport company. At this point, I would just take it to a good detailing shop and they should be able to take care of it.

Sorry this all happened though, hope some good luck comes your way soon.

Sorry this happened to you.

Hopefully, you also received or purchased insurance for the transportation. If you did, that should cover damages. I would look over your paperwork from the transportation company for any documentation regarding damages during transport. Unfortunately its a shitty situation, but if you're not covered by any transport insurance or the transport company has any documentation limiting liability or completely releasing them from it you might be SOL and getting a lawyer won't really help.
