Has anyone found any aftermarket step running boards that fit the 6th gen?! I have an SR5 that didn’t come with any installed 😵💫

Hey Emma. Are you looking for rock sliders that can be a step or just something that is a step and doesn't offer any protection to the vehicle?

I’m not picky!! I just need an extra step as I’m 4’11” so just something that can help me get into the vehicle!

Cool. I just ordered the CBI Rock Sliders which do have a flat top you can step on, but it's not all the far below the door.

If you want more of a step, Toyota ( and maybe others), make this Predator Drop Step, that might work better for ya.

Good luck!

Personally, not impressed by the Predator steps. It looks like you'd simply catch a rock or a tree in middle and never move again. Might be good for the mall.

If you’re looking for a “clean” look, I believe Toyota offers electric power steps that sit flush with the body when not in use (doors closed). I believe they’re a $1K option on the higher-end 4Runner platforms. More importantly, they tend drop lower than other options which helps those of us “vertically challenged”

I optioned my Pro with the cast aluminum TRD boards, they are awesome and I love how they fit the vehicle. Not the cheapest but well worth it IMO!

I agree. Those aren't for me. Shin busters.

This is what I am waiting for.
