Correct. Bedding is to establish proper friction surface between your brake pads onto the rotor. More emphasized on sporty brake pads, but average street pads can benefit from this too.
People who swap between street and track pads for track days also do this for proper operation.
This is street car, not something with a track-only engine that you need to pump hot to start. It's fine. Most people do not know you can check Odometer Mileage by Key On without running the engine.
Cold Start idle is 1500rpm or car is turned off after a certain duration (like going for lunch).
Even though the tread pattern is identical, the HO version may have a different compound layout/setup than the standard Cup2 and should have "HO" stamped somewhere on the sidewall. You will have to drive both versions and see if you can tell the difference.
That alignment looks like how I'd like to drive around, which would be fine on the street. I would put more front camber based on how your tire wear, but you'd like to be as close to stock spec as possible.
Tell us more after you get some laps with the Cup 2.
If your goal is to have a good time during HPDE, you are good as long as you can find easily find track pads for the Si.
Please keep in mind you will be far better off with the Type R if you are going to add considerable power to the Si motor, which is not very strong to begin with.
That is exactly what did not make sense at all. I have replaced an engine once while disconnecting the steering rack on a different vehicle. I have removed and bolt on many wheels on the same end of the car countless of times. Steering wheel should not be vibrating afterwards.
The lugs were...
I drove the car again today and the wheel rotation seems to do the trick. I just need to decide where am I going to have two, or all of the tires balanced on the safe side.
Many Thanks!
I was about to have my local America's Tire to check if the front two tires are balanced, until I noticed they were on the sketchy side of things. Each bay is equipped with four floor jacks and just have cars up in the air that way. So I immediately left.
Eventually, I gave your idea a shot...
